Design Days Dubai, the Middle East and South Asia’s first fair dedicated to collectible and limited edition furniture and design objects, has ushered in a new chapter in the arts and cultural scene of Dubai, by defining a strong platform for emerging and established designers, in its first edition that recorded a turnout of 8,500 visitors.

From 18 to 21 March, Design Days Dubai offered designers, visitors, and students the opportunity to interact and learn from some of the most respective names in the field. The exclusive showcase of rare and unique objects and furniture, from 22 of the world’s top-tier galleries, are served as an inspiration for design enthusiasts and an unprecedented experience for every visitor offering a glimpse of contemporary trends and the design industry’s growth potential.

The inaugural Design Days Dubai also put the spotlight on Emirati design and craftsmanship. Through a series of seminars, talks, workshops, panel discussions, live performances, and interactive sessions held during the fair, Design Days Dubai established itself as the flagship forum for the design industry and a catalyst that drives its growth in the region.

The second edition of Design Days Dubai will be held in March 2013.
